We host online, and in person, seasonal events rooted around the Celtic Wheel of the Year.
Each gathering will start with a grounding celebration ritual, including songs and stories performed by seasoned professionals, we all then participate in a series of professionally led workshops, each one will depend on the time of the year that we are entering, before coming back together for a closing ceremony.
'Welcoming the Seasons' is made up of award winning Singer/Songwriters and Musicians Lucy Farrell and Emily Portman, Celtic Wheel and Wisdom Guide, Claire Hazelden, Artist and Vocal Coach, Robin Love and Storyteller and Performance Artist, Síle Joyce, as well as guest contributors.

Our Story
Like so many others, and many of you we are sure, 2020 brought a time when we were looking to find a different way to connect - we got together online. Through that regular time spent together, we found a mutual love of folklore, mythology, stories and ritual, and the real need for those observances that create and hold communities together. We believe the thread that holds it as one, is the connection to the natural world around us, the ever predictable rhythm of the year, from the dark, to the light, and into the dark again.
Our ancestors knew this 'tipping of the hat' to the rhythm of the year was something to be celebrated, and the rituals that did that, grounded them as integral parts of that natural world. That's how 'Welcoming the Seasons' came about; our backgrounds in folk music, storytelling and our in-depth knowledge of the Celtic Wheel of the Year creates environments for us to build our own community at each gathering, and one that we hope we can keep building on, into the future.
